First-Ever Corn Pit

Yesterday we went to a local place that does a yearly corn maze. We heard that they had other stuff for kids to do as well so we thought we'd have some fun. On this particular day, we happened to be the first ones there (SCORE, no crowd!); I was already excited because Bella could basically run free and do what she wanted. They had big wooden trucks with attached slides, a cow milking station (not a real cow...that would have been quite interesting tho), corn maze (too long to complete so we skipped it), our first-ever corn pit (Mitch and I got in! It actually felt really cool and was quite a workout too; perhaps a new trend in the exercise equipment industry??!), a place for bowling, and a few little mazes for kids to do. Bella loved running around checking everything out. My friend Mindy and her daughter also met us there. The girls had a good time playing together, as usual. They are just so cute together. When we finished playing, we went and picked out some pumpkins (REALLY looking forward to cooking the seeds!) As the 12:00 mark approached, Bella started her usual, I need to eat, fussiness. So, we headed home and did the usual lunch and nap routine. We can't wait to carve the pumpkins next weekend!
