Aunt Sue-Sue and the Zoo

Last Thursday, Bella and I met Aunt Sue-Sue at the NC Zoo in Asheboro. We arrived around 10:30am and began the day with the usual diaper/bathroom break. This was Bella's first time at the zoo so she had no idea (obviously) what she was in for. At first she REALLY liked going up and down the steps (talk about a workout!). It wasn't too long into the walking that she discovered there were creates and animals of all kinds to see. Some of her favorites from the day include: Turtles, Polar Bear, Elephant and the Giraffes. If you have never been to the NC Zoo and plan on going...BRING YOUR WALKING SHOES! Yea, the trail that winds through the zoo is rather long. At the end, you can ride a small bus to get back to the right entrance; Bella thought that part of the day was fantastic! Overall, we had awesome weather and enjoyed seeing all of the animals. Bella did an excellent job walking almost the whole time (the girl has loads of energy....perhaps I should warn her future teachers?!) Here are a few pics from our day!

  1. Looks like a fun day! I've been wanting to take Madison to a zoo...hopefully soon.
