YEE-HAW!

After Bella awoke from her nap today we decided to take a trip to Green Acres Farm! It was a little warmer than I would have liked for 'Fall' weather, but it was still a lovely day. We began our adventures with a pony ride. Bella was very hesitant at first, and didn't want to do it at all. I made her stick it out and in the end, she didn't even want my help. She LOVED it! Next, we went through the little kids hay maze...we knew that Bella probably wouldn't make it through the corn maze (which is ok with me, especially after watching Children of the Corn several years back) Perhaps next year...

After the maze, we checked out all of the farm equipment they had out. She loved 'driving' the tractors and had a hard time leaving that area. She was also sad that none of them had a horn (thank goodness for that!)

Our last event was the ever-famous hay ride! Luckily we didn't have to wait too long to hitch a ride. Bella first sat on the hay and then decided that she didn't like it much. She quickly hopped up on my lap for the ride. The whole time she just kept saying, "Hay ride mommy!" Surprisingly she didn't complain when we had to get off. I think she had her eyes set on the pumpkin patch!

Our last destination was the PUMPKIN PATCH! She went straight for the largest ones also known as the most expensive ones. We roamed around looking at many different sizes, colors, shapes etc...we finally came across Bella-sized pumpkins! We let her bring two home. She just thought they were the coolest things ever! (so did we...they were only a dollar, ya!) It was a very fun family outing and I look forward to doing it all again next year!
